This workshop focuses on strategies to enhance the adoptive parent’s ability to advocate effectively for appropriate educational services for his/her children. The workshop also explores the parent’s role in accessing other special services (e.g. mental health or post-adoption services) for his/her children and adoption subsidies to assist with paying for those services.
