This training provides in-depth information about how childhood abuse, neglect, abandonment, and family dysfunction contribute to the development of post-traumatic stress syndrome, attention deficit disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or reactive attachment disorder. It explores how the brain is changed due to early neglect and abuse. Post-traumatic stress disorder will be explored so caregivers will better understand children’s’ response to stress. This workshop is CSWMFT Board approved for
Social Work and Counselor CEUs.
