Aaliyah is a high school student who enjoys spending time with friends and socializing. She describes herself as sensitive, creative, and dedicated. Despite all she has been through, Aaliyah has a big heart and is nice to everyone. She always tries to be positive and give people second chances.
When asked to describe the hardest part about being a kid, Aaliyah said it is being too young to do things. She can’t wait to graduate from high school and be an adult! Her goal is to attend cosmetology school to become a hair stylist. She enjoys doing hair and is very good at it.
The perfect family for Aaliyah will provide security, make her feel comfortable, and give her a permanent place to call home. She has experienced a lot of change in her life, so it is important for her to be around people she can trust and depend on.
Children available through Stark County Job and Family Services may qualify for a variety of resources including financial support through federal or state subsidies, the medical card, or funding to cover travel expenses and legal fees. Eligibility is determined by each child’s specific special needs and is subject to change based on federal and state regulation. Aaliyah’s adoption worker will be happy to provide additional information regarding specific subsidy and resource eligibility.
