Avaya, whose nickname is Vay, is very caring and outgoing. She is 15 and is starting high school soon, her favorite subject is math. Avaya loves dogs and thinks she would someday like to go to college and study to become a veterinarian.
Avaya is a good baseball player and she likes to roller skate, and go for walks. Avaya also enjoys playing Twister and board games, watching TV and going out to eat. Avaya learned how to do a split and thinks it would great to be really good at gymnastics.
Avaya says having a loving and kind family is important. She very much wants to become part of a nice, caring family who will listen to her when she talks, and will love her and treat her well.
Children available through Stark County Job and Family Services may qualify for a variety of resources including financial support through federal or state subsidies, the medical card or funding to cover travel expenses and legal fees. Eligibility is determined by each child’s specific special needs and is subject to change based on federal and state regulation. Avaya's adoption worker will be happy to provide additional information regarding specific subsidy and resource eligibility.
