Not every child will know the joy of running through the grass on a beautiful summer day. Not every child will lead an athletic team to victory. Not every child will be graced with a vivid imagination, creativity, or the ability to draw. Every child, however, deserves to be loved without reservation. Dante is such a child. Dante’s young life has been very different than that of most children, but like all children, he responds joyfully to attention and love.
He is six-years-old and has never experienced the joy of learning to crawl, talk or walk. His world is limited. Despite these challenges, Dante has a beautiful, heart-warming smile and is happy and content. He loves the sound of a caring voice and delights in being held and cuddled. Dante loves to be taken for walks, and to basketball games and musicals. He likes going to school and being around other children.
Dante’s forever family must be strong, flexible, resourceful, patient and understanding. They must have the time necessary to care for Dante and his special needs. Dante doesn’t require perfect parent(s), but he does require loving parent(s) who are willing to make a lifetime commitment to his care and nurturing.
We are looking for Dante’s forever home. Might it be yours?
