Jaelyn is an intelligent and friendly high school Junior. She does well academically and plans to pursue a career as a medical doctor. Her goal is to attend The Ohio State University to become an allergist or immunologist. Naturally, her favorite subject in school is science.
Words to describe Jaelyn are unique and original. She is very proud of herself for recently landing her first after-school job! When she’s not working or going to school, Jaelyn enjoys watching TV, listening to all kinds of music, and talking with her friends. She describes herself as a homebody who also enjoys being outside in the sun.
Jaelyn has accomplished some amazing things in her life, including serving as a member of the Overcoming Hurdles Youth Advisory Board of Ohio (OHIO YAB) through the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO). While on the board, Jaelyn played a role in creating a new law to help children in foster care.
Jaelyn describes her perfect family as people who care about each other, want to see each other happy, and provide a good support system for one another. She looks forward to being adopted because it means “having someone always be there” for her.
