Lyric says the word that best describes her is “interesting” and she would like to learn to speak French fluently. Lyric is a high school freshman who loves math and art. She is proud of her academic achievements and says it is important to her to be successful. She has participated on Student Council, yearbook and step team. Lyric has an interest in cosmetology and hopes to one day go to college and study to become a radiologist or, perhaps, a lawyer.
When she isn’t busy with school, Lyric enjoys spending time with friends, shopping, watching TV and participating in Children Services Youth Advisory Board (YAB). Lyric says it makes her happy when the people she loves are happy.
Lyric believes family is made of people who may have differences but who will always love, support and care for each other. She looks forward to a family that will always “be there” for her. Might you be that family?
Children available through Stark County Job and Family Services may qualify for a variety of resources including financial support through federal or state subsidies, the medical card, or funding to cover travel expenses and legal fees. Eligibility is determined by each child’s specific special needs and is subject to change based on federal and state regulation. Lyric’s adoption worker will be happy to provide additional information regarding specific subsidy and resource eligibility.
