Tyler, 17, enjoys playing basketball, football and catch with friends. He also enjoys playing video games, watching Netflix, playing cards and participating in outdoor activities. Tyler describes himself as handsome and good at telling jokes. If Tyler could have a special ability, he says he would love to make everybody laugh.
Tyler is a Junior who says Language Arts is his favorite subject because he learns so much. He also enjoys music class because he loves music. Tyler has two goals following graduation. The first is to pursue a career in cosmetology so that he can become a hair stylist. The second is to eventually become a foster parent so that he can help other children the way that he has been helped.
Tyler enjoys spending time with his foster parents and their family. Tyler says they make him happy.
Family, Tyler says, is made up of people who love you, and the perfect family would include people who are kind, funny, silly and like to play the Michael Jackson Dance game together. Tyler also pictures a family going swimming and fishing together. Tyler says that a family with “a zillion kids” and pets would be really fun!
Children available through Stark County Job and Family Services may qualify for a variety of resources including financial support through federal or state subsidies, the medical card or funding to cover travel expenses and legal fees. Eligibility is determined by each child’s specific special needs and is subject to change based on federal and state regulation. Tyler's adoption worker will be happy to provide additional information regarding specific subsidy and resource eligibility.
