Child Care: Providers
Stark County Job & Family Services Child Care covers part of the cost of child care for eligible low and moderate income families. A child care provider must be licensed by the state, Ohio Department of Job and Family Services, or certified by the county agency (in-home aides) in order to provide care for children of families who qualify for this program.
Becoming a Provider
There are several types of Child Care providers: Centers, Family Child Care (Type A & B) providers, and In-Home Aides. Centers are inspected and monitored by ODJFS; Family Child Care providers and In-Home Aides are inspected and monitored by Stark County Job and Family Services.
